Hi! I'm an art history student from Montreal, going to study for six months in Taipei, Taiwan. It is the first time I travel in Asia and I'm very excited! I want to learn the more I can about the taiwanese culture and the people's identities and life styles! That's why couchsurfing seems a like a good platform to meet people!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to meet people who live in the cities I am only visiting, because it's a great way to understand the core of those places, how people make them their own, how they move and what they do in those places they call home. It's mostly to get out of the touristic paths and meet locals who are willing to show me how they experience their city.
I have always wished I could host back home in Montreal to show my wonderful city to foreigners but my appartment is pretty small and I have two roommates, so it has not been a possibility for now!

My life is a good mix of traveling et studying and it's pretty great :)
In Taipei, I will study mandarin and taiwanese cinema and pop culture!

I have been to the very east and the very west of Canada! I think it's important to explore your home before going to travel elsewhere!
I think most of the amazing things in my life probably haven't happened yet, but it's very exciting!

We can share our tastes in music, exchange books, etc. I always like to discover new stuff!
Also, I can cook you a great meal and we can have amazing conversations! Every person is different so once we get to know each other we will have plenty to share and learn together! I think you can learn something new everyday!
