I love travelling with my daughter who is 6 years old. I started to travel with her when she was 16 months in West Africa.
I used to travel for working on the field, but I like it for my pleasure too!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hosting and surfing... As I became a CS member recently, I haven't participated in activities yet. But I will!!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is the first time I have my own profile. Before, I had one with my husband. Since we are separated now, I decided to get my own profile.
We used to have couchsurfers in our appartment in Quebec city from 2005 to 2009.
Summer time in Quebec city is really cool, so I hope to have couchsurfers at home in summer 2012. Winter is cool (cold!) too, but it is really different for the activities to do inside or outside the city.

Interests

Indian culture, indian languages. Anthropology in general.
Reading poesy, fiction, historic and scientific litterature.
Photography.
Travelling.
Sports : running, basketball, winter sports, dancing (swing, zumba, and a bit of salsa), hikking, camping...
Hanging out with friends.
Watching movies.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Forest Gump, Accross the Universe, Dance with Wolves
Music : Music from the french part of Canada (Richard Desjardins, Catherine Major, Pierre Lapointe) and classic french music (Brel, Brassens or Piaf).
Currently, I listen in my car : Adele, Amy Winehouse, Radiohead, Lilly Allen, Cindy Lauper, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Bonjovi or Billy Joel.
Books : All the books of Dany Laferrière (a french canadian writer) and A Fine Balance written by Rohinton Mistri.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All my experiences are amazing! Giving birth is the most important thing I have accomplished in my life.
