About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to see the world and how different people live in it.

ABOUT ME

I’m Mariel, originally from California, now based in Sydney. I love discovering new places through food, art, and the people who bring them to life. I’m all about meaningful conversations, adventures, and finding the balance between exploring and just soaking it all in.

When I travel, I like getting to know a place beyond the guidebook — chatting with locals, wandering through markets, trying something I’ve never cooked before, or finding a hidden bar with great live music. I’m easygoing, curious, and genuinely enjoy connecting with people who have a story to share.

I’m not hosting at the moment, but I love meeting up for a coffee, drink, or a meal while I’m on the road.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat others how you want to be treated!
Live each day as if it were your last! And Learn as if you live forever!
