I am 21 years old and I study social work in the University of Athens. I am a very outgoing, happy person, I like to go out with my friends, having fun and discover new things, such as different cities through travelling, food, culture... I like to read books, going to concerts. Also, because of my field of studies, I would like to learn the "sign language", so as to work with the deaf community.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I decided to make a profile on couchsurfing, beacause in a few monts I will be traveling to Amsterdam, Netherlands and I will stay there for six months to do my traineeship in an Organization, through Eramsus + program. Starting from this, I would like to meet new people all over Netherlands and, in general, Europe and have the chance to host anyone who will be interested in seeing Athens and get to know a different side of her :)

I love dancing and making pastry for holidays or to give away to all my friends. I have started modern dance four years ago and I have, also, done some lessons of Latin dance. I like yoga, travelling to different cities all around Europe (such as Paris, London, Rome etc...) and doing voluntary work through my School and university.

I hear all kinds of music, I don't have a problem, but I prefer swing - jazz music and a lot of old songs from the 20's and 50's .

My favorite books are some humorous stories from a Greek author, called Auguste Corteau ( his real name is: Petros Xatzopoulos)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Last summer I went to Chevetogne, Belgium and I volunteered in a summer workcamp for one week, with the help of a Greek Organization for volunteer programs, called Elix. There I had the chance to work in a group of volunteers from all over Europe and organize activities, pass a creative time with people who had light or medium mental handicap. It was a very challenging but, at the same time, amazing experience that had taught me lot of things.
