Hi, my name is Marina - and I’m from the beautiful country of Ukraine. I currently live in Kiev, and love it here. I work in a bank with corporate finance, and study law on the side – but don’t be fooled – I’m actually quite a fun person.

Living in Ukraine and wanting to travel isn’t easy. We are still waiting for the new visa regime to be adopted by the EU, which will allow us visa-free travel to Schengen. Still, we remain optimistic, and hope that this will be sorted out soon.

I am an open person, so feel free to ask me anything you’d like about my life :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven’t been able to travel as much as I would have liked, mostly due to the retarded rules and laws about visa. Now that things are looking up, I really want to travel more.
P.S. I heard that CS is a great way to meet new people, and make new friends! :)
