ABOUT ME

Mark--I grew up on a farm and then a small town in the Midwest. I spent a lot of time by myself working on hobbies. When I went to St. Olaf College, I decided to spend time with classmates. Now, I feel comfortable either way but prefer to connect with others I find interesting. When I graduated in Industrial Education at the U. of M, I spent two summers hitching around Europe. Since 1988, Ihave traveled in Korea, Singapore, Mexico, Guatamala,Spain, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and all over the United States. I now spend about half the year in Florida and half in Minnesota.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that people basically live up to the expectations of others. Given the chance, almost everyone wants to contribute.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I've attended some local gatherings besides hosting and surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It's been really great to meet and get to know so many really fine and fun people, not to mention saving money for accommodations.

Interests
