Hi,
my name is Marketa and I am from the Czech Republic - from Prague. I am 25 years old. I studied Spanish philology and now I am in my 4th year studying Psychology.
I love travelling on my own (e.g. hitchhiking) and discovering foreign countries from different points of view - one of them would also be through Couchsurfing.

I have discovered Couchsurfing during one of my voluntary workcamps in Spain and I was immediately delighted about such idea - that one can stay in a city with a local person who knows the city best, can give tips and even if I am traveling alone, I can meet other people in such a great way as Couchsurfing is.
And on the other hand, I can show my beautiful city of Prague to foreigners so that they will really enjoy it - not just as a regular tourist like everyone else.

兴趣

I love travelling, meeting new people (especially from other countries), sport (I play tennis, badminton and I ride a bicycle a lot) and I also love e.g. literature, history or architecture.

As I study psychology, my favorite movies are those ones with psychological plot (I love e.g. The Hours, American Beauty...).
For books, I prefer classical literature (Ana Karenina, Animal Farm, Madame Bovary...) or psychological books.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Probably it is the Camino de Santiago - a pilgrimage road which goes through historical cities on the north of Spain to Santiago de Compostela. One month and 800 km of walking and meeting people from all over the world...

I can teach English or Spanish (or of course even Czech) or practice speaking in these languages.
I would like to learn about different cultures, no matter which one, practice languages and broaden my horizons by understanding various opinions and attitudes to life.
My entire life I have been rather obssesed with France and French language - currently I am trying hard to learn it, also via traveling to France.

I can share everything about Czech culture because nearly nobody knows it much (and that is a pity), share my experience with different countries I have been in (as a regular tourist, volunteer or hitchhiker) or simply have fun together sharing the traveling stories... :)
