About Me

Hello! I'm traveling around Europe looking for a place to settle down. I dream of spending my days homesteading in a beautiful forest, and building an intentional community and tribe of people who share similar values.

I'd love to stay with / meet people who can help me understand what it's like to live in an area (especially if they can compare it to living in the United States), as well as people who are interested in intentional community and / or homesteading.

In exchange, I can teach partner dancing / piano / martial arts / other stuff, or fix something around the home! Or maybe just provide some company to talk about what is meaningful to you, or even just sit together in silence.

---

"Though I did not know the place, I set out for the land of my dreams. Having arrived at the land of my dreams, I found I did not know the place."
― Keiichi Sigsawa, Kino no Tabi

I love making music, dancing, challenging assumptions, doing nature things, and fixing my own stuff.

I'm ready to settle down in a beautiful forest and spend my days homesteading. I also dream of building an intentional community of people who share my values and desire for a "tribe".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like the idea of people helping out a stranger when they can, even if it is as simple as hosting a traveler. It gives me a sense of a greater world community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Portillo, Chile, I played soccer with the Austrian men's ski team and a kid from Portugal. None of us shared a common language, but we were able to connect through a common interest. That was pretty cool, very international. Not sure if it counts as amazing?

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach:

- music (guitar / piano)
