ABOUT ME

I'm a positive and friendly person, always ready to meet people and make new friends from all around the world. I'm guy trying to live a meaningful and balanced life, full of experiences and fun, trying to learn from each experience, be it good or not so good.

PHILOSOPHY

We've gotta live our lives. Try to find what your values are and live as if today was the last day of your life. Be in the present, that's what you got now. It doesn't mean you shouldn't have your dreams, goals and plans, but let's not live in the past or the future.

Respect people, be friendly and willing to listen, there is always a whole life full of experiences behind each person.

I made some good friends through Couchsurfing. I couldn't be more thankful for being part of this community.

Interests

That's what I like:

Traveling, meeting people, learning languages, music (almost every type - specially Brazilian), my three "homes": Brazil, Canada and Germany, food (anyone willing to teach me how to cook?), dancing, talking, listening to people's stories, exercising, outdoor activities such as biking, camping, hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing (I'm new to Canada, so I don't sky or snowboard yet), books, photography, technology, the culture from Brazil, specially from the south (gaúchos).

Top 3 cities I've been to based on my personal experiences:

- Florianopolis, Brasil - beautiful island, beautiful women, my best friends, my 20's
- Foz do Iguaçu, Brasil - Iguassu Falls and Itaipu Dam, my childhood
- Istanbul, Turkey - Where west meets east. Awesome city.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Basically any type of music, it totally depends on the mood or the moment.
Books: Novels, technical books and even some self-help books can contribute sometimes.
Movies: I don't have one favorite movie, but I love watching them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sold everything and travelled for many months in 2013/2014. There is nothing like it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn: There are so many things I wanna learn: dance, sing, guitar, German, French, cook, scuba diving, massage. I also wanna learn more about different cultures.

Teach: I'm not sure if I can teach something, but I've got some experiences that might be useful like being in long relationships, moving to different cities (and country), working remotely, loosing 50 lb (or 22 kg), changing my lifestyle. I'm not a professional, but I can share what I've learned on the way.
