To introduce oneself... What a challenge ! I'm gonna be quite classical about it I think. My name is Cécile, and I'm a 29 years old french theater actress in constant training, both on stage and in life !

To meet new people, obviously ; both travelling companions and hosts who will be kind enough to share the hidden wonders of their city/area/country. To share and to learn from one another.

Interessen

My interests mainly evolve around arts, literature and culture. I often go to the theater, I love watching movies and writing short stories. I also used to draw and paint a lot but even if I often say to myself "Yeah, I'll do that again one day !" the fact is : I don't, haha.
Word of advice : I'm also big on politics. I'm not campaigning for any specific party and you won't find me trying to convert you to anything, don't worry, but if you like to debate for hours during the night, drinking beers and smoking cigarettes, about how to make the world a better place, I'm your girl.
Thanks to my parents who used to take my three brothers, my sister and me with them during their numerous adventures across Europe, I developed a keen interest for travels, foreign languages and cultural exchanges.
I also like hiking, looking at the sun set or the approach of a storm, drinking a cup of tea while reading a book... But I better stop here. There will be plenty more to say but I wouldn't want to ruin the suspens !

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I don't have a specific music's genre. I'm the type of girl who can switch from The Clash to Chopin from one song to another. As long as it pleases me, the genre doesn't really matter. I'm more likely to be drawn to rock'n'roll, electro-swing, jazz... though.
Same goes for movies and books ! Being a theater actress, I read a lot of plays. My favorite authors are Howard Barker and Shakespeare I guess. Khaled Hosseini, Carlos Ruiz Zafon and Armistead Maupin are also novel writers I trully appreciate.
And just to mention a few movies I really enjoyed : Dracula (Coppola), Todo sobre mi madre (Almodovar), Delicatessen (Caro&Jeunet), The Hours (Daldry), The King's Speech (Hooper), The cabinet of Dr. Caligari (Wiene), Trainspotting (Boyle), etc.
