ABOUT ME

I had a fairly ordinary life, school (Bolton), University (Sheffield), work (engineer), wife (now divorced for many years), kids (three, all grown up & making their way in life) etc. Decided to take early retirement after 35 years behind a CAD terminal and am now a free spirit, based in the Isle of Man but looking to see a bit of the world before I get too old.
I spend a lot of my time listening to music, watching live bands, taking photos of bands. Have a pretty hectic social life but enjoy every minute of it. I also spend a lot of time helping out with local "green" organisations such as Permaculture & others who encourage low impact and sustainable living.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted a few couch surfers over the past few years and my door is always open to visitors. I live in a "normal" house but also spend a great deal of time living / helping out on an organic permaculture-based project. I've taken on many Wwoofers and HelpX participants
