HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In former times CS was like the doors to heaven: cool people, helping you out when you were traveling with nothing but a tent and never-ending youth-passion. Experiences, excitement, endless summer!
Now as I am older, I'm not that self focused anymore and also I seem to have overcome the "material" component. I could afford AirBnB - although I am not rich. But I find myself reading the profile self descriptions of some people here with enthusiam and pleasure - it's really inspiring and yes - I feel the community spirit: I like couch surfers! I like the Idea of living together, sharing over the borders of countries and cultures! This is the way, live and politics should be!
Now I am more settled: I work, I worked in a school as a teacher and i had some times with absolutly no time for myself. I succeeded to notice that and change it. Unfortunately one realizes that often too late and my really close relationships suffered from that. (sorry!). So now, I still work and take my job serious. I mean, I have responsibility for humans. I hope, you wouldn't act different. In my freetime I like chilling and what I call „breathing“. Sometimes I also arrived in doing boring stuff - gaming or just doing nothing. But I also have a side, that is still enjoying every single moment and try to create and prefere sharing moments, discover things and of course doing music.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

i drove my bike and got off my shirt while driving, althoug i had a big backpack (15kg) on my shoulders! without stopping. For me this was really heroic...
Getting a public bus chanting christmas songs from Sommerhausen to Würzburg - during the time with my incredible Christmas Band.
