About Me
NOTiCE: Dear friends, we will not be in Iran until the end of September 2025.
Sometimes, when the monotony of life becomes the only guest in our home, I find myself thinking about all the breathtaking views we haven't seen yet, the sweet stories we haven't heard, the colorful foods we haven't tasted, and the fascinating truths we're still unaware of. That’s when I turn to my husband and say, "Come on, bring the backpacks." It's time to hit the road again, toward near or far lands, to listen to the bitter and sweet stories of those familiar strangers we’ll meet, to fill our bags with new things, to learn, and to experience.
And now, there’s this amazing app that gives people from all over the world—people who are curious and eager to explore—the chance to find shelter in each other’s homes, sit in peace, share stories, sip tea, listen, laugh, and be amazed.
I love mixing different ingredients and cooking. It brings me joy to create new and delicious flavors. I give them to my husband, who’s a teacher, to try and tell me what he thinks. But more than that, I love discovering new flavors from faraway lands, bringing them back home and sharing them with friends. Of course, there are many other things we’re passionate about too, like music, cinema, and deep conversations. In any case, I feel truly happy and deeply grateful for having found places and learned new things along the way. I’m always looking forward to hosting tired travelers, or being welcomed into the homes that might host us in the future.
