ABOUT ME

I'm friendly, independent and have my shit together. am outdoorsy and adventurous. I'm an activist in based in Ohio right now. Ive been working on campaigns against Fracking and Mountain Top Removal for a few years now.

Hint. I really dont like being called Mary. Its Mary-Claire or MC is fine as well.

I can live and travel very inexpensively. I seem to collect instruments- strings are my thing. I like to grow things. Giant house plants are great. So are vegetables.

PHILOSOPHY

I have my outlook on life that I firmly believe in. Its been shaped by my education, my life experiences, my upbringing, what Ive read, the news etc. etc.

So no. I guess Im not open minded in all things. Ive already made up my mind about who I am, what I believe in and where I stand. It would take a pretty incredible argument to make me rethink these things. That being said, I am very respectful of different opinions (as long as your not sexist, racist, homophobic etc.) and will happily have long friendly arguments and debates.

2012 Sept - Nov: just graduated college traveling around Europe

2012 Jan: month long internship in Asheville

2011 Nov: a week in St. Crouch USVI before getting on a boat for 6 weeks of sailing and oceonographic research

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done a decent amount of couch surfing now, and its been amazing- looking forward to doing more and having a solid place where I can host people.
