My name is Masika, and I work as a nurse at a local clinic in Uganda. Alongside my work, I dedicate my time to community projects focused on supporting vulnerable children, especially orphans in rural areas. About five years ago, I started a small initiative that has now grown into a school and community program supporting over 450 children with access to free education and care. We run a nursery and primary school in a rural area, with over 100 pupils currently attending. Our work also includes women empowerment programs, supporting mothers and young women with skills and income-generating opportunities, as well as youth empowerment initiatives. In addition, we operate mobile clinic outreach services to reach families with limited access to healthcare.
