Being as young as I am, I often feel that I should rather learn more than teach as I still lack the life experience that many older people already have. That being said, I still believe that there are a few things that I can teach people who I meet without having a certification or degree of some kind. One thing that I love teaching people, usually my age is to stop living in the future(worrying about what might and might not be) and to start living presently. Enjoying the here and now. In todays digital age it is so easy to get caught up in someone else's "dream life" and overlook all your own accomplishments and wonderful life experiences. When I start feeling this way I like to put away all technology and get back to reality and nature. Disconnecting from over stimulation and the deceiving sense of connection and really connecting with those around me where I find myself in that moment.

I love learning about everything and anything that I can. However my favorite things to learn about as often as I can include living a healthy lifestyle, sustainability, cultures and ways that people are accomplishing extraordinary things in ways that I could never imagine.

Growing up Iranian has really taught me so much about sharing and the benefits that goes along with it. Not only for the person I share with, but also for me. It gives me a sense of purpose and feeling of being selfless. What would a world look like anyway if nobody shared with others. Couchsurfing is almost built on this value as well considering the fact that hosts and surfers share their homes and lives with each other. This is one of the many reasons that I love Couchsurfing!
