About Me

I'm from Budapest and previously lived in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Paris and São Paolo. I managed to find a way to combine my passion for art and nature, establishing and coordinating international cooperations that engage citizens in climate action via the creative means of art. My main work at the moment is with Acting for Climate, a contemporary circus collective. I am the producer of their project "Currents", a worldwide sailing circus tour between 2024-2028 that travels with a performance on symbiosis, readapted to each location in collaboration with local artists and environmentalists. https://www.instagram.com/currents4climate/

I love all sorts of art, hiking, and walking in the city even if I don't know exactly where I am because I usually find the best places when getting lost. A random fun fact about me is that I love the scent of lemon so much that I tend not to wash my hands after cutting lemons to make lemonade or tea - to keep the scent.

I'm easy-going, but reliable. I love spending time with people, cooking and going out but I also love spending some time alone reading, watching films or just wandering in the streets or in a forest. In fact, I've found that spending time in nature is what charges me up the most lately, and I am trying to consciously dedicate time when I'm not really doing anything but just "airing my mind out".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I was in high school I kept listening to the insane stories of my friends who've been traveling with couch surfing and at 16 I thought it's time I don't just listen to those stories but become woven into them, so I went to the highway, put my thumb up and hitchhiked to Vienna as my first trip. I took me 3 lifts and a whole day to get there because I was so unexperienced I kept waiting at the wrong places but in the end, I arrived to Vienna in a limousine!!! And yes, via hitchhiking. And so I never stopped.

Since then, I accidentally bumped into massive theatre festivals via hitchhiking, got picked up by people who cycled around Europe for 20 years, and the story goes on.

Interests

I'm interested about psychology, philosophy, but mostly about ART. Every kind of art. I am a member of a theatre group, I danced hip-hop and jazz, I played cimbalom, the drums and a really little bit of the guitar. I love going to concerts as I love live music.
I like painting even if I'm not talented but it's the same with playing football or volleyball.
I like sports, like running, hiking, cycling, canoe trips, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to Amazonia and the sky there at night is just the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life. I met sloths, anacondas, alligators, huge spiders, and pink dolphins. I spent one night sleeping in the forest and 10 days on a ship, sleeping in a hammock... never felt so in sync with nature, just not looking at my phone for the duration of my stay, rising with the sun and going to bed with the moon.
