About Me
Edit 2025/2026:
...took a brake from hosting for a little while, starting again, but have a busy and chaotic schedule, so better write me in advance (few days is fine) - Pleaaase read my profile before requesting, it's long, but it will take you 3 minutes.. As I am involved in some volunteering activities, I might be abroad a significant amount of time, or not have much time, but give it a try.
I live in Bratislava, where I was born and lived the most of my life. I like open-minded, tolerant people... Prefer folks with whom I can talk about anything...not into bigot, conservative and too religious stuff, but open to discuss it in a firendly way :)
Ex-scientis/biologist/zoologist, now photographer and graphic designer, volunteer

I live in a spaceous apartment, you will be accommodated in your own separate room with a small balcony. The apartment is in an older 70s eastern european (soviet-ish) style apartment block 30 minutes walk or 10 mins bus ride from the city center. Very near to small Petržalka train station so convenient If u come from or continue to Vienna.
My passions: PHOTOGRAPHY, TRAVELLING, ART, COOKING, WILDLIFE and NATURE, FREEDIVING, SPEARFISHING, VOLUNTEERING.
I love to experience other cultures, but not always into must-see touristic attractions ...
As I was born in Bratislava, where I live the majority of my life, I can offer some good advises what to visit in the city or nearby..depends on your preferences... Despite I recommend visiting some of the top touristic places (castle, old town) mostly for beautiful views, I can offer the insight to Bratislava other places worth of visit or places where you can just chill and enjoy the moment. I do get a lot of requests, so If you include the sentence about your favourite WILD animal, that would help me to recognise, that you at least have read my profile...cheers 😊
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've decided to join because I had spare room for a few months so why not to try this right..? Also love the low budget travelling, and what fits more than couchsurfing? :) I like to meet people from different parts of the world. And as I like to say, hosting on couchsurfing is like traveling, but staying home at the same time :))
