About Me
Helloooooo! I'm Matteo, a young guy who lives in a flat with my flatmate! I'm a nice one, simple and easy guy, I love music, books, sports and I love cooking! I enjoy my time going all around the city by bike, for happy hours or beers with friends (beers, not only one..but always responsible!). I love doing trekking in mountains here in Italy! I'm working as a maths and physics teacher in high schools, it's really hard and unstable but it is a true passion, in the meanwhile I continue my volunteering with disabled people! I really like it, it's something that completes yourself and gives you a lot of satisfaction and! For the rest, I love maths and science, in fact I do private lessons of scientific matters, but even philosophy and spirituality.
I live my life because I have to reach my spirit. I want to change my materialistic vision in a total spiritualistic one and closing my karma circle. I am a very reflexive guy, always with thoughts and sometimes not so happy about life. But then I always find something that helps me to go on and I'm happy of doing my duties!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I hosted more than 100 people until now! I literally like it and enjoy the spirit of sharing experiences, food, music, languages, it is a part of my life and it helped me to grow up! So, I am pleased to host you, if possible!
I travelled a lot and for many people the problem of finding somewhere very cheap isn't always easy! There are hostels, Airb'n'b but what I really think is that, if you are open minded and without luxurious expectations and you like the human touch of the hosting, Couchsurfing is what you are made for.
I like to help travellers from all over the world and share some days of my life with them! You are all welcome to my house, girls, guys, couples, homosexuals, heterosexuals, I don't care! You can be aliens from Mars, I will host you as TRAVELLERS!!!!
But, I don't like moralists. I love to host people and that's it, really. That must be the spirit! So, open minded and zero problems! Let's be clear from the beginning!!!
Interests
I love music, of any kind (or almost...), I like watching films, reading books, talking with people and experiment new languages! I love to learn anything can help me in my life and teach anything I could! I love talking about many things, I love spiritual and philisophic topics! Or, I enjoy silence too! I love cooking, in fact I'm italian!
I like to hang out with friends or going to some concerts or nice and cultural events all around the city! You are welcome to join them with me!
I like to drink beer or wine, cocktails, to smile to life! Sometimes I smoke (not cigarettes, other stuff!) but just some breathes!
I like taking photographies with my reflex! It is a passion I have from a lot of time and now I can finally practise it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My trip in Iceland, where I found many nice people and experienced real adventures!
Volunteering for disabled people. That's the most amazing thing I ever tried and I still do it!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to cook some of italian typical dishes, and obviously share with u my musics, films, experiences, food! I am always learning many things, so come and bring ur stuff in!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a warm shower, towels, always something to eat, drink and I have a bed for two people! I have blankets, so if u cannot take ur sleeping bags with u it ain't a problem! But be careful, since I share the apartment with one flatmate, so each one of us has his or her own things. Not everything in my house is shareable with guests, for example things in the bathroom, food in the fridge. I will indicate you the things you can use and the ones you can't. It's important to respect each other, if that isn't present, well, you aren't ready for Couchsurfing.
Care of the house (cleaning, things in order) is always the priority. It's not a hotel, a hostel, an airbnb in which there is someone cleaning and organising things for you. You are a guest and in order to feel comfortable, every one should make his or her part! Thank you!
