CURRENT MISSION See amazing places, meet awesome people, eat tasty food. ABOUT ME Hi, I'm Matt, I'm 31 and currently living in Southend-on-sea, a seaside town in South East England which is also where I am from. I previously lived in Dublin, Ireland and I hope to move to London in 2017. I love living in a city, checking out all the cool local bands, eating different styles of food from all over the world, and drinking nice beer. In March/April 2017 I hope to spend a week in Copenhagen and Sweden and am looking for some people to host me and show me some of the local sights and food. I am also planning a trip to Africa next summer.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE When living in Ireland, I hosted a couple of Couchsurfers and had a great time showing them around Dublin. I was also hosted in Phnom Penh while travelling in SE Asia.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
The best experience of my life was 3 months travelling in Australia, including: sleeping under the stars at Uluru, trekking through the Kakadu rainforest and skydiving over Mission Beach

I'm a PhD chemist, so know quite a lot about science. I can also show you how to build a computer and how to play Jump by Van Halen on the keyboard.
