Hey friends and soon to be friends! My partner and I are currently preparing for a lovely year-long round-the-world adventure! And depending on how good I am at updating this page, we might already be in your country!

My last year of adventure had me mostly in Germany, with little trips here and there to surrounding countries (plus Ireland teehee). This time, I want to range far and wide, seeing Japan, Oman, Norway, and many other countries! I'd like to meet the kind of people who would use a site like couchsurfing.com if that makes sense. I want to make connections with and learn from experienced travellers, and maybe host if I get a chance. I'm currently in the process of immigrating to Germany, but once I've got my feet under me I'd love to welcome people into my home :)

Plus, I like hitchhiking, and couchsurfing pairs well with that kind of spontaneous travel.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

The Kingkiller Chronicle by Patrick Rothfus is soooo gooooood. Can't wait for the last book to come out! Oh and Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl was life changing. There's a man who can say a great deal with just a few words.

The King's Speech is awesome. I've enjoyed every Hayao Miyazaki movie I've watched. Admittedly I've seen less than half of them, but I'd be happy to fix that over some Netflix parties with new friends haha

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I've done plenty of exciting things, but I've enjoyed scuba diving the most. It's a fairly common thing to have done, but there's something about breathing underwater and experiencing that incredible other world that can't be beat by other activities. For the sake of being being a bit more unique though, I'll add that I've had a personal tour of a military submarine in BC. That was pretty awesome.

My slack line and beautiful smile? I haven't travelled much, so I don't know how much unique perspective I can share with others, especially in my area. But I love getting out and doing things. So if you're ever annoyed that your friends aren't around or don't wanna go see that cool thing with you, don't worry--I'll go see that cool thing with you.
