Overview
About Me
I’m a reflective, down-to-earth person that wants to experience and understand as much as I can about myself and this world while I’m still alive.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m hoping to meet the world; to share some of myself with others and take in whatever they have to teach
Interests
My curiosity is seemingly infinite
- culture
- philosophy
- religion
- nature
- psychotherapy
- existentialism
Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly enjoy listening to folk - bob Dylan, Neil young, tallest man on earth, Mississippi John hurt, etc. but I’ll listen to mostly anything.
I love most movies, but I particularly enjoy mind-benders and films with a powerful symbolic structure.
I love to read. Psychology, philosophy, and religion with an existential bend are my favorites. However, I’ll read anything to learn something interesting.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once witnessed the northern lights stretch across a dark sky on a snowy night in Iceland as my brother stood beside me
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach psychology classes as an adjunct, so I love discussing big ideas.
I want to learn about everything and everyone. It seems like my curiosity never ends.
I’d love to share my world with anyone that’s interested. I’m an open book.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m a humanistic therapist by trade which makes me a good listener. My focus is on dialogue, so hopefully I can share a good conversation!
