ABOUT ME

My name is Mattia Pironti, I am from Montreal, Canada. I graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston in songwriting, United States in December 2014, and then from Canterbury University in New-Zealand in Primary Education in November 2015.

PHILOSOPHY

Live at the fullest, finding meaning in what I do, help others, travel, express myself through music and arts, meet people, love and live.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The reason why I am on couch surfing is because I believe it to be the best travelling medium in the world. It allows you to meet people from all around the world, stay at their home and through that experience, discover a new culture which to me is the richest gift of any trip. Couch surfing for me is a symbol of a world I want to live in. It has no borders, race, age, gender or any other kind of barriers. It's free, it's open to everyone, it's based on hospitality, kindness , honesty and curiosity which are all values I believe in and support.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

To be honest, I've been away from home these last couple of years so I haven't had the chance to host anyone but I had the chance to stay in Israel for 6 months in 2012 and spent 5 of those months couch surfing.
