Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like to travel and discover new places. I was born in the Reunion Isles, my father lives in Paris and my mother lives in Switzerland. I go to a business school in Champagne and I am currently studying in Hawaii (Oahu).

Interests

I like music and dancing. I play the guitar, the ukulele and I sing. I like dancing rock n roll and salsa. I tried surfing (I mean waves, not couches) but I'm still pretty bad! And I love hiking and outdoors but also the nightlife in the city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once went to 4 different countries in 4 days (and of course the airports do not count) : I took the bus from Cambodia to Vietnam to get my flight for Paris, and the day after my arrival in Paris I went to spend Christmas at my mom's in Switzerland.
It was also the time when I went to 3 continents in 2 weeks as I moved to Hawaii a week later!

A friend and I also once went to one of the most rural villages you can find in Cambodia (no running water or electricity, only wooden houses) because an association we are part of was building a school there.
We decided to stay there for the day/night although everyone else was heading back to the city after checking the school, and we spent the day alone among the locals, who did not speak the same languages as us. We communicated with hands, they showed us their houses and their lives, the way the boys were washing clothes in the closest river, the way they squeezed sugar canes to drink juice out of it, they took us to long motorcycle rides in the fields, they invited us to share their dinners, taught us Cambodian words... Probably the most amazing day in my life!
