Hey! My name is Mauricio. I'm from Argentina, but currently living in Spain.

I studied Computer Science and finished my degree thesis in 2024. My current activities besides my job as a software engineer includes acting classes, jiu-jitsu training and hiking in the mountains on the weekends.

I consider myself as a easy-going person, who likes to spend most of the time with friends as well as meeting new people. Im always happy to find new and challenging adventures, and participating in the Couchsurfing community is something that always bring new opportunities for that matter

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, it's one of my biggest passions. I did some journeys while i was in Argentina, but i think that now in Europre it's where my real journey begins. I have plans to travel to new continents including Asia and Africa, also I want to keep visiting new places in Latinoamerica.

When traveling, I'm focusing on meeting local people and try to have the most of a very local experience from the place. Feeling more like a traveler and less as a turist. That's why i think Couchsurfing would be a great way to improve my skills to reach this goal!

Unfortunately, for now its not easy for me to host people since im sharing a floor with more people, and that wouldn't make a very comfortable experience for the guest. But soon enough i hope to move to a place of my own and start accepting guests!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to almost any kind of music, but my favourite genre will always be rock and most of its derivates. I also like jazz, classical, some pop, some electro, reagge, among others. I really enjoy fusion of different genres.

I love everything about cinema and filmmaking, and also tv shows. I spend a lot of time discovering new films. Sometimes i prefer to watch pop-like things and sometimes independent stuff. But i love almost all kind of movies.

I really like literature and always want to start new books, but for the last few years i've lost the habit sadly. Hope to gain it again because reading is a very beautiful universe to be inmersed in. Some of my favourite genres are science-ficition, mystery, fantasy and horror.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to have conversations about the different cultures and share my own with others (in terms of movies, food, music, some history...).

Going on adventures is something i never get tired of. I love hiking in the wild, camping, sharing moments in the most remote places... but most of all, learning about new things to do and having new experiences.
