Hi, I'm Mauro and I'm from Italy.

Things I enjoy:
Wild animals, camping, mountain landscapes, climbing, cooking on a camping stove, sharing meals in mountain bivouacs or around long tables, sautéing vegetables with soy sauce, exploring forests and caves, vintage clothing, watching the sunrise, taking train rides, swimming in alpine lakes—or really, any lake. I also love diving into books about ethology, marine biology, psychology, and zoology. (list in progress)

Things I’m not a fan of:
Poachers, overly modern mountain huts, ski resorts that turn the mountains into amusement parks, industrially processed food, running out of toilet paper, people glued to their phones while I’m talking, and anything that limits personal freedom. (list in progress)
