Since graduating college, my wife and I have been traveling, saving money to travel, and pursuing additional education. We are now settling down to start our careers after traveling in SE Asia, Europe, and the MENA region.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Originally we joined to meet locals and learn more about the places we were visiting. We have met so many wonderful people while couchsurfing that we can't let that stop happening... come stay with us!

兴趣

I am interested in architecture, green building, permaculture, drawing, and game design to name a few. On our travels I sketch, make computer models, and do a little programming or game design when I have a spare hour. I am also building a photo texture database.

My musical interests are varied and usually not enjoyed by my wife. So we listen to what she likes.

We enjoy many TV shows together such as House, Leverage, and Modern Family. Our favorite movies follow in a similar vein. When possible we like to go to the Opera as well.

I really enjoy science fiction and fantasy books. My wife reads the classics.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Drove a 1965 VW bus across the USA... three times! Our beloved Hercules is a deluxe red and white bus who occasionally won't start. He loves bringing us to visit national parks, hates the snow, and goes at his own (slow) pace. Just after arriving home at the very end of our last trip the stick shift broke. Someday we will restore him to his former glory (and perhaps fix the holes in the floor).
