About Me
About Me
Hi! My name is Maximiliano (but everyone calls me Maxi). I’m originally from Patagonia, Argentina, and now based in Mammoth Lakes, California.
I’ve been part of the Couchsurfing community for years — in Bariloche, Argentina I hosted more than 50 travelers from all over the world. It was an incredible experience of sharing, learning, and creating friendships, and I’m grateful that many of those guests left me great references.
I’m a designer and wood artist, creating unique tiny houses, vans and buses with a fairytale style. I’m also a snowboard coach and a fly fishing enthusiast. I love meeting new people, cooking simple but tasty meals, and exchanging culture and stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, Couchsurfing is not just about a free bed — it’s about connection. I enjoy sharing life, helping out, and respecting the space of my host. I truly believe every person I meet adds something to my journey.
