Having spent the majority of my life in Moscow, I made the exciting move to London in January 2023, exploring new experiences and opportunities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and seize every opportunity to embark on new adventures. Couchsurfing, to me, represents an incredible community of open-minded and hospitable individuals from all corners of the globe. It's a platform that allows me to connect with like-minded souls, forge meaningful connections, and create unforgettable memories together.

In addition to connecting to locals when I travel, I also greatly enjoy opening up my own space to welcome others. Sharing my home and experiences with others brings me happiness and a sense of fulfilment.

Interests

I do daily morning exercise and night reading. Weekly, I attend contact improvisation classes, singing classes, go to the pool and a gym. I love yoga and meditation, and occasionally go to a bouldering gym. Weekends are for travelling and socializing with friends and my spouse.

Professionally, I'm passionate about technology and innovation in retail and consumer space, as well as sustainability and climate topics.

Music, Movies, and Books

I gravitate towards Indie music, Classical and Folk, but my taste in music spans across various genres, including rock and EDM.

In terms of movies and books, currently I mostly immerse myself in British content to gain a deeper understanding of the culture. I occasionally enjoy art-house films, appreciating their unique and thought-provoking narratives. I am also generally fond of the sci-fi genre.

In both movies and books, I seek out thought-provoking content that stimulates my mind and leaves me inspired or curious.
