Hi, I’m Shawon — a travel vlogger from a small village in the southernmost part of Bangladesh, right by the Bay of Bengal. I live in a peaceful, remote area where nature is truly mesmerizing. If you visit here, you’ll experience the real Bangladesh — far from the hustle and bustle of crowded, traffic-heavy Dhaka.

In my village, you'll get to witness the authentic lifestyle of rural Bangladeshi people. If you’re tired of the noise and chaos of city life, this is the perfect place to find silence, calm, and natural beauty.

Due to the village being surrounded by the sea, we have access to some hidden islands — like the beautiful “Here Island” — that most people in the country don’t even know about. These islands remain unexplored because of poor transportation access. But from my home, we can take a boat and enjoy the untouched natural beauty of these places. From Here Island, the views of sunrise and sunset over the Bay of Bengal are absolutely breathtaking. There's also a secluded beach surrounded by stunning mangrove forests — a truly magical spot that very few have seen.

Please note that coming here is a bit challenging and can be slightly expensive. You’ll need to adapt to the local lifestyle, embrace simplicity, and be ready to adjust to different situations. When you're here, you'll live like a typical Bangladeshi villager — and that’s the beauty of it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One day, I took a guest to Here Island. Unfortunately, the tide went down and the water level dropped, so our boat got stuck and we couldn’t return. We ended up having an unexpected adventure — spending hours exploring the peaceful island, sharing stories, and enjoying nature. Eventually, we returned late at night under the stars. It was a unique and unforgettable experience.
