ABOUT ME

I am a student at the University of Giessen but live in Marburg. Always happy to get to know people from around the world and hearing about their exciting adventures while travelling.
I also love travelling myself. I can never get enough. ;) Unfortunately time is always hard to spare but where there is a will there is way.

Ich studiere in Giessen, wohne aber in Marburg. Neue Leute kennenzulernen und von ihren aufregenden Abenteuern, die sie auf Reisen erlebt haben, zu hoeren, freut mich immer. Davon kann ich nicht genug kriegen. ;) Leider ist meine freie Zeit haeufig sehr gering vorhanden, aber wo ein Willer, da ein Weg.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to host peple that are looking for a stay in the heart of Germany. Also I hope to find new friends, learn about different countries and cultures while hosting and travelling myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While surfing my first time ever, I met the most amazing and experienced couchsurfer in Singapore! Since then I have met more couchsurfers and I love it. The idea is great and working. :)

Up to now, no one wanted my couch... :(

Interests

I like playing the piano, although I'm not really good. It's fun anyways. Other than that I love ballroom dancing, both standard and latin styles. Just last semester I tried Rock'n'Roll. That was an amazing experience.

Klavier spiele ich ab und zu ganz gerne, auch wenn ich nicht wirklich gut bin. Hauptsache es macht Spass. Ausserdem tanze ich gerne Standard und Latein. Letztes Semester habe ich Rock'n'Roll angefangen. Das hat auch Spass gemacht und es ist bei weitem nicht so einfach, wie es immer aussieht.

Music, Movies, and Books

Before studying I used to read a lot. Now I hardly have time to enjoy a good book.
I love all kinds of music but don't have a special one I like most. I open to most anything but that Techno sure gets on my nerves after a couple of minutes...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done? I would have to say that would be the time, when a group of five friends of mine and I built a 3 ton raft in Sweden by ourselves with nothing else but trunks and ropes. I took us an entire day and was about 3 x 9 meters when finished. Then we floated atop that heavy thing for 50 k in 3 days. Awesome!

Was das beste Erlebnis meines Lebens war? Ich wuerde sagen, es war der Sommer 2011 in dem ich mit einigen Freunden ein 3 Tonnen schweres Floss in Schweden baute und dabei nichts ausser Staemme und Seile nutzte. Kein Werkzeug, nur Knoten. das 3 x 9 Meter grosse, schwere Gefaehrt haben wir dann 50 Kilometer flussabwaerts gefahren. Unglaublich toll!
