I spent a few months backpacking in Europe before moving out to Portland, Oregon in 2012, and that is when I "surfed" for the first time. Let's just say that I have not looked back since. I am truly thankful for all of the people that I have gotten to know in this community over the years. I enjoy meeting new people and seeking out new experiences, so I can be easily convinced to plan something fun together. :) 👉🏼 At the moment, my few belongings are in storage, and my partner (Quin!) and I are living nomadically and working remotely. We enjoy slower travel, and so we generally plan to spend 2-4 months at each place. 📍Currently living in Bariloche until mid-April, 2023. I work as a Product Manager at YNAB (You Need A Budget). Have you heard of it? ..... Thoughts that are resonating with me right now: Less is more. "The hardest thing in the world is to simplify your life. It's so easy to make it complex." - Yvon Chouinard Look outside the choices presented to you. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING In all aspects! I love to surf while traveling, and I try to give back to the community as much as possible by hosting or having travelers hop in on weekend adventures!
Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy many genres of music! I like to be introduced to new artists. Indie, folk and singer /songwriter are my favorites, though. I don’t watch TV, but do enjoy a good movie every once in a while.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I completed a 121 mile race! Running on single-track trail from Mt. Adams to Mt. St. Helen's. "Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go." - T.S. Eliot
My Interests
I love exploring the outdoors and experiencing new places and ways of life. I thrive on climbing, trail running, skiing, packrafting, mountain biking, and adventure racing. I am also into stoicism, naps in the sun, and ice cream. :)
