About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To completely let go of my previous expectations and judgements of the world and embrace what there is and isn't and find beauty in everything
ABOUT ME
I love travel, with my most recent experience being a year away in South America which has truly shaped me as a person. I have many many more years of travel ahead of me! I am a kiwi (New Zealander) but I speak fluent Spanish which I tutor at the University of Auckland and during my own classes which are aimed at young children and parents.
I live with my boyfriend of 7 years in Auckland central (about a 15 minute bus ride to the centre) and this year will be studying to get my post-grad diploma in teaching.
I am a passionate, friendly and open-minded person who has had nothing but amazing couch-surfing experiences so we both would like to open our door and arms to friendly travelers.
PHILOSOPHY
There is beauty in everything

Music, Movies, and Books
I hate being confined to judgement by books, movies and the like. I'm always changing what I like and don't like, but anything that makes me sing and dance and feel different from how I did before is good for me!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saw the death of a sheep for a first holy communion in Peru, and also killed a chicken myself to challenge that vegetarianism pointless mass killing stigma I had. I held hands with women who truly suffered and who truly loved and felt more than I have ever experienced. I felt my baby nephew kick in my sister's tummy and was the first out of my family to hold him. I ran a half marathon in the most beautiful setting in New Zealand, and pushed myself harder than I have ever pushed. I left behind some of my loves in NZ to embark on this adventure which tore me but I am so much stronger now.
