ABOUT ME

Right now I'm travelling around Australia but before this was a radio reporter in the Canadian arctic. I quit my job in December 2012 to travel around southeast Asia and Australia and now that I'm here am looking for similar work in news reporting :)

PHILOSOPHY

I've come to realize that it's quite impractical to be too rational about big decisions. The more I learn and travel, the more I see life as one big game. You can turn your life into literally anything you want it to be and I think it's amazing.

Right now I'm reading In a Surnburnt Country (aka Down Under) by Bill Bryson and it is awesomme. I also really like Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert and the Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls

I like all music.. most particularly top 40 :)

For movies, I've always been a fan of comedies... give me Will Ferrell movies and chick flicks and I'm a happy camper

I think the most amazing/crazy thing I did was leave my job to go overseas with no plan whatsoever... I've seen some amazing things and met great people, experiences I would have never had if I had stayed in that one place. Sometimes it can be scary, but it's the thrill of the unknown that keeps things exciting.
