Ahora, soy una estudiante posgrada en los EEUU, y espero a empezar mis investigaciones en Mexico en el invierno hasta la primavera. Busco unos contactos en la región, como la comunidad de couchsurfing, quien puedan introducirme a la cultura, la gente, los lugares naturales y especiales en Oaxaca durante mi viaje.

Me gusta cocinar, beber café, y charlar sobre música, libros, la naturaleza, y detalles importantes de cultura--y también me gusta escuchar a otras personas, sus experiencias, opiniones, y cuentas. Tengo interés en la agricultura (¡porque me gustan todos tipos de comida!), la conservación del medioambiente, y como podemos producir los alimentos en una manera sostenible. Espero que pueda conocer a gente de quien pueda aprender sobre estos temas.

I love connecting with people through food, cooking and eating, and I have found these things to be perfect ways to discover a culture or a person's history. I am passionate about all things in the natural world, the small curiosities that make this planet an inspiring place to live in. I am outgoing and relaxed, love folk music and musical gatherings, and discussions about politics, religion, art, culture...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Participating in meet-up groups, going out on social activities with visiting surfers, surfing with others, and hosting when I am able.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed abroad, in Spain, Ireland, Turkey and Israel, and had great experiences with all of my hosts. I have also met numerous people traveling within the US and surfing with friends, and had wonderful interactions and adventures with them as well.

Reading, listening to music, photography, practicing the banjo... I also hike, bike, run, and go on adventures involving numerous outdoor activities--climbing, canyoneering, rafting, canoeing, and sea kayaking among them! Gardening, farming, and exploring wild ecosystems are also important interests of mine.
