To put into few words, I'm queer, spiritual and a dreamer at heart. I am passionate about travel, knowledge and experiencing what the world has to offer.

I am frequently travelling for work and not necessarily through Couchsurfing, but this is a great community of travellers.

I haven't been an extremely active member in the Couchsurfing community since my travel to Europe but I hope to get reconnected to this amazing community.

I work as a freelance journalist and researcher and I'm based out of The Netherlands, but travelling through Europe for now . Would love to meet people and make some friends here but also open to creative collaborations and ideas for covering arts, culture, travel and political stories.

Trip hop, psymbient,world music,classic rock etc. I especially love exploring new genres and listening to music from whichever part of the world I’m currently in.

Some of my favourite (mainstream) films are Waking Life, Pi, Tree of Life, the Matrix trilogy, V for Vendetta, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Requiem for a Dream.Apart from these I like the genres of French Nouvelle Vague, Soviet Films, Iranian cinema.

Books of poetry (mostly any kind), books on the human psyche, dystopia, mysticism, spirituality . Favourite poets/authors: Rumi, Arthur Rimbaud, Aldous Huxely, James Joyce, Franz Kafka, Sartre, J. Krishnamurti, Arundhati Roy, Gorky, Dostoevski.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am very enthusiastic to learn about different cultures and I could paint you something or paint with you. I can also offer some basic lessons on yoga, or any of the languages i know!
If there are enough spices available, I could also cook you something traditional.
