Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Mehrab, a Kurdish Iranian medical student currently living in Messina, Sicily. I'm passionate about medicine and equally excited about connecting with people from all walks of life across Europe and beyond.
For me, travel isn't just about seeing new places – it's about discovering the stories, cultures, and perspectives that make each person unique. I believe the most beautiful part of any journey is the human connections you make along the way.
📖My Values :
I live substance-free and appreciate hosts/guests who share similar lifestyle choices. I deeply respect cultural diversity and believe that our differences in nationality, race, religion, and background are what make humanity so fascinating. Friendship truly knows no borders, and I refuse to let political divisions limit meaningful human connections.
As someone once said, "There are two motives for travel: one, that you enjoy it; the other, that you can boast about it." I'm definitely here for the former – authentic experiences over Instagram moments.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing represents everything I love about travel: being a traveler rather than a tourist, learning from locals, and building genuine connections. It's about finding home wherever you are and never feeling alone in a new place.
I'm here to be a respectful guest who brings positive energy and interesting conversations. When I host, I aim to share the same warmth and hospitality that I've received from the Couchsurfing community.
This platform has become my gateway to meeting fascinating people whether I'm exploring new cities or welcoming travelers to my own. It embodies the freedom, openness, and love that makes travel truly transformative.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I enjoy meeting new people and learning from their experiences. I can share with hosts my stories, insights, and perspectives from my travels around the world. I can also share with hosts some of my skills and hobbies, such as cooking, photography, music, or languages. I am always eager to try new things and to exchange knowledge and ideas with others.
I appreciate the generosity and hospitality of hosts who open their homes to travelers like me. I respect their differences and preferences, and I try to be a considerate and tidy guest. I am reliable and trustworthy, and I always communicate clearly and honestly with my hosts. I also like to show my gratitude by offering a small gift, a meal, or a favor to my hosts. I believe that couchsurfing is not only a way to save money on accommodation, but also a way to make meaningful connections and friendships with people from different backgrounds and walks of life.
