I am PhD student in economics at the University of Chicago. I had a long journey to get here, two bachelors in mathematics and computer sciences and a master in economics. During my bachelor, I learned that playing safe is not the best way to live our only life and I need to get out of the library and add some adventures to my life. I tried to travel in Iran as much as I can but I only had five years which is very short to get to know many different cultures in a multiethnic country like Iran and visiting the rich nature of that region. Now I’m here in the US since 2017 and would love to meet new people and explore the amazing nature of this country. I love Persian poetry (Rumi, Hafiz, ...) and can talk about Persian poems for hours. I love Persian classical music and the folkloric music of Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, ... . I usually play my Setar or harmonica while camping alone (because I don’t think anyone would like to hear my awful playing 😂). I love cooking and baking. I usually cook when I feel depressed.
