Hey! My name is Melissa, I'm a 23-year-old kiwi taking some time to explore this epic world we call home.

Travelling for me is all about connections and learning which is why I am 'couch surfing'. I'm really interested in local history, language, food, and the outdoors. I'm an ecologist and divemaster who loves doing art, playing music, yoga and other exercise. I'm learning Spanish and would love to learn French, Italian, and German.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on a quest for a more authentic travel experience by connecting with locales.

I love learning about the local food, language, and the general community from locals. I've been backpacking since November 2022 and have stayed primarily in hostels; now I would love to do cultural exchanges with locals.

I would love to cook for you, take you out for a drink, or do activities together. I don't expect anything, just what the website entails, a 'couch', and a cool connection.
