About Me

To land either an acting role or recording contract in the US!

I am a performer from Australia who is traveling to New York in June to take an acting course which may provide me with work opportunities. I'm blinded by the stars in my eyes and am ridiculously ambitious. I am warm and friendly, I laugh loudly and often, and tend to snort, basically I'm pretty adorkable...
I'll sing for my supper, and am super clean, I often treat my housemates to an impromptu "Best of the 80's" show, usually at some stupid hour of the morning....or not, if they're not into that. I make it my business to maintain friendships, and am loyal and hard to forget. I love animals and children and I'm always living in my imagination, so I'm the perfect babysitter! I love to learn and to teach, so swapping skills and talents is always on the agenda.

You are only as interesting as your imagination. If you want to do something that no one has done before, or that others think is impossible, then ask yourself "why can't I be the first person to do that?"
Talent, ability and passion are all subjective, ambition and drive and persistence are the keys.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am planning to travel, and am currently living with family. I myself do not own a couch, however I have many friends all over Australia who are wonderful and who I can recommend as good hosts.

I toured around Europe with a choir at 16 and was hosted by many different families. I was so lucky with the amazing people I met who looked after me as though I was family. The best part was seeing my surroundings from a different perspective that a regular tourist. I believe the best information is from the locals, and if you are respectful and kind as a traveler, they will be too.

Theatre and film, live music, reading, odd sports (Croquet, Bowling etc, nothing too full on!) playing music, impromptu jam sessions and crazy singalongs, midnight walks, quiet time (yes, sometimes I'm quiet), visual arts and makeup artistry, more specifically body art and SPFX injury simulation.

Music, Movies, and Books

Swinging Jazz, Ridiculous Rock, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's. I have eclectic and particular taste, but I will give anything a listen.
Film Noir, Cult films, Foreign films, action and thriller, cheesy horror films.
I quite enjoy wanky drivel, I like a challenge. Epic fantasy stories, and futuristic utopian sagas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've sung during a Latin mass in the Basillica San Marco in Italy, I've dislocated my knee while free sliding in the Swiss Alps, I have had brunch with an Orangutan, I've volunteered in a Nursing Home for 3 years and learned the most precious lessons of my life, I have played with Tigers cubs and ridden "bare-neck" through the jungle on an Asian Elephant

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always up for a piano or singing lesson. I can pass on visual arts and design skills, I'm a pretty good cook, and I offer an alternate view of life.
