About Me

Connect with people whereever I go, be free, and get fluent in Spanish!

i love people and the world. i've been studying acting in nyc, but might be moving again, and no apartment right now. Can't wait to be able to host again in the future.
i'm genuinely interested in people and their stories.
between traveling, i'm an art student in boston.
i don't really confine myself to anyone one medium, though i started off drawing, painting, and sculpting.
now i work alot in sound and film and do photography and dance with fire on occasion.
i love to dance. i love the sunshine. i love to dance in the sunshine.
i live to celebrate how wonderful it is to be alive and try to share my enthusiam for life where ever i go.
some say i'm eccentric. and i have so many different interests it's hard to know where to begin.
i'm estonian and love music and film and middle eastern dance.
i'm never happier than when i'm having an adventure somewhere outside of where i live and meeting people along the way.

From too much love of living,
From hope and fear set free,
We thank with brief thanksgiving
Whatever gods may be-
That no life lives forever;
That dead men rise up never;
That even the weariest river
Winds somewhere safe to sea.

...leap and the net will follow.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

i open my home to travelers when i have one and couchsurf when i can. i have also used the CS rideshare boards in Mexico and talk about CS with almost everyone I know.

Spent a night in NYC with two cool women 5 years ago- initially trying to find a cheap place to stay while volunteering at a film festival. they soon told me all about their adventures and experiences with this site, which was how the two of them became friends. traveled throughout Mexico via CS, Seattle, LA and San Diego more recently. A night with Yale students in New Haven, CT who used to live in the artist collective I moved to in Brooklyn.

film, sound/music, astronomy, people, alchemy, mysticism, traveling, spelunking, learning new languages

Music, Movies & Books

foreign, independent, and avant garde films right now.
i love all kinds of music, especially that created by weird, exotic, lesser known bands. right now i love boards of canada, edith piaf, fawn fables, & Led Zeppelin.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

hitch hiked back to NJ from the west coast and ended up in a castle in upstate ny before i made my way down to nj. the guy who lived in the castle started building it in 1969 and is still adding more on. i played hide and go seek for hours with his grandchildren and before i left, they asked me to stay forever.
