About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Working as a consultant in the water sector

ABOUT ME

Since I have this funny job, which brings me to many countries in the world, I like to get to know the local habits and foods and smells.
My family is with me or not, depending on their schedules like school and degree of roughness of the place. I like to see the local craftsmen in their shops and like to get some few unique things, not the tourist stuff. Depending on how long the last holiday is past, I sometimes just feel like taking the day of. I like to be a cautious visitor but also like to tell people what I saw what others did to make their lives better.

PHILOSOPHY

Let the others agree and then top it off with a good proposal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since I have to do couch surfing once in a while in my job anyways, so this could be a nice experience to have people actually embracing it, with CS system.

Interests

Many, but changing. Biking stays, but I did from boating in Arctic Norway to flying airplanes in Africa more or less a couple of things which makes fun. I paint my pictures, built my own houses, do my own photos and repair my cars and bikes myself. That saves a lot of huddle fuddle and keeps me connected with the practicable side of live. I try to keep it easy, that means keeping it in the the 20% effort range to solve 80% of the problems.

Music, Movies, and Books

History of the places I visit often turns out to be more interesting than you think.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a airplane Cessna 182 apart, shipped from Vancouver to Europe, reassembled it and flew it all over Europe to Westafrika and flew for years through the deserts of Mauritania and Senegal.
Was very special...
