About Me

Travelling Thailand and bringing joy and music to your place.

After spending 6 years living in Australia, and travelling last year in Europe, bringing joy, music, fine cooking and bad puns to people around I’m house sitting or staying at friends before rooting myself in the land of my dream. Which I’m currently looking for.

I am a musician. I’ve recorded a couple of albums ( and am working on my next show which should be about travel stories and personal experiences I link with songs from my latter album.

I try to live with integrity, presence, warmth and humour and to build my experiences more than my regrets.

I’m a big fan of Churchill quotes here’s two among my favourites:

“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give”

“The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty”

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find in The Couchsurfing project evidences that:

Human interactions can be based on something else than economical rationality and profit,
Helping one another enriches us way more than all the money we can earn,
Two strangers or more can choose trust and generosity over fear,
The community we are a part of goes way beyond our neighborhood. It is spread worldwide.

Besides having recorded two albums as a guitarist, singer, writer and composer (, I play various other percussion and string instruments, including Handpans and I make a living out of my music.

I meditate and started to teach Tai Chi.

I am a gipsy, I am a wanderer, I am a rainbow, my soul will never die.

I’m also really good at:

Agreeing, mostly with myself,
Forgetting the hour,
Not being concise but being consistent,
Being absurd... Does it makes sense ?
Spreading love around,
Hugging and cuddling

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I love watching a good movie in good company and feel strangely drawn to watch terrible ones when I’m on my own. Is it something curable?
I love documentaries because I feel a bit smarter each time I watch one... if I understand what it’s about… which happened once…. a few years ago… The name was Rasta Rocket and it was about playing Tuba... I think.

Shows: Next winter I promise, I will spend less time watching shows... or not… Six feet under, Arrested Development, Breaking Bad, How I met your mother, Flight Of The Concord, Game of Thrones, BBC the Blue Planet, Avatar, the last Airbender to name a few.

Books: Books: Books are really good!!! Especially to cure ignorance, racism, boredom, narrow minded people, Donald Trump, migraine, smelly feet, sleepiness…
1984, Brave New World, Asimov's Foundation, Hyperion and Endymion, Kahlil Gibran "The Prophet", The Celestine Prophecy, The Third Eye, The Alchemist, Flash ou le Grand Voyage, The “ 1995 Gold Edition” of the Springfield Phone Book from L to P letter changed my vision of the world.
I read a lot of comics.
Today I don’t read books as much as I’d like to (Damned TV Shows!!!)

Music: I hate music except my own album played very loud at other people’s place and the new album of J.S. Bach.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to my own wedding!

Marriage didn't last but that still was the best day of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach vital stuff which could save your life in this urban jungle sur as:

How to eat yogurt
How to spread butter on a crepe
How to catch a bubble and keep it in a jar
How to ice skate in your freezer
How to base jump from your dinner table
How to debate about whether if “The zombie movies as a metaphor of the human condition” is an essay from Plato or Confucius
How to fish a sardine in a can...

And many, many other things

What I Can Share with Hosts

I play music, but only tuba, and only between 4 and 6 am
I cook the best cat you’ll ever eat
My stories are so funny, I just keep on forgetting their punch line
I’m really good at cleaning, but only my own clothes
If you host me, I will organise a bingo game night
I promise you having me around will make you experience an intense feeling of joy…
...When I leave.
