Struggling digital nomad, avid traveler and a geek.

I work online, mostly doing translations, and it allows me to work from anywhere in the world, so I've discovered the beauty of slow travel, staying in one place for a long period of time, discovering personal favorite places and making meaningful connections.

I prefer meeting people over sightseeing, and I believe in learning about culture and history of countries through people rather than books. I love cinema, going to concerts (a bar is always better than a club), trying and cooking new foods, going out, long conversations after 2am with a bottle of wine, curling up with a good book, running, having long leisurely breakfasts, watching movie marathons, playing boardgames.

I have a travel blog that I occasionally update, but usually it's all Instagram.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Showing people around my hometown, providing a place to stay, spreading the word. I'm also a moderator of Krasnodar group and organize CS events.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in all over Europe, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Korea.
Hosted many times in Russia.

Bought a one-way ticket to South East Asia and went traveling for 5 months straight. Saw many sunsets in Bali. Surfed in the Philippines. Cycled around Angkor Wat and saw sunrise there.
Hitchhiked in Georgia, Armenia, Serbia, Bosnia.
