ABOUT ME

i'm super crafty and love to make things (especially knit/sewn/crocheted/glued things). i play a lot of instruments (piano, violin, ukulele, banjo, guitar, autoharp, recorder, etc...) but none of the as well as i'd like. i love learning new skills/things/random facts. i wwoofed for 3 months in france and ireland and realized i really really love working in the dirt.

and i love to travel, obviously.

i love to meet new people but sometimes i'm quiet at first. i love seeing new places and doing new things. i'm super easy going and quick to laugh.

PHILOSOPHY

i love people. i love to hear their stories and find out what makes them tick. i love realizing that we are all fundamentally similar and can relate in meaningful ways. i fall in love with moments and it is those moments that i live for.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

so far i've just surfed--in ireland, france, and slovenia--but i hope to host once i get a place of my own. i'm moving to brooklyn once i get home and hopefully my roommates will be cool with offering up our couch to the needy masses.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

a spare room in ireland, a mattress on the floor in paris, an extra bed in ljubljana... so far each one has been a learning experience.

i once plowed a field with a horse. that was pretty unique.

i can teach you how to make a pair of shorts out of a t-shirt. i can teach you to bake bread. i can probably teach you how to play a song on whatever instrument is around. and i can definitely teach you how to knit.
