Overview
About Me
Hi! We're Mialene and Colin, a Norwegian friend duo living in Trondheim.
Colin grew up in Svartlamoen (in Trondheim), a partially independent community designated to experimentation in urban environmentalism and communal ways of living. Mia Helene is from a farm (near Oslo), designated to... potatoes...
We met studying 'Drama and Theater' in Trondheim, and then went on to study in the UK doing 'Cultural Studies'; a unique non-disciplinary discipline (closely aligned to sociology and media studies) which grew out of 1960's leftwing radicalism. Now we've bought a tiny house on wheels and have returned to Svartlamoen in Trondheim, Norway, to study and work.
We are desperately curious people who are looking for ways to understand and change the world, or at least ways to enjoy it without doing too much harm ... Pessimism of the intelligence, optimism of the will!
(Greatest foes: moths, neo-liberalism and apathy)

Music, Movies, and Books
Now, the favourites game is a flawed one, but for the sake of it, some honourable mentions:
Music: Talking Heads, Kate Bush

Books: Waiting for Godot,
TV shows: Star Trek: TOS, Legion
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bringing Bertolt Brecht plays to life on stage.
Also ... we once went to an international Trotsky-ist conference. Can't say it was amazing, but we are amazed we did it!
Teach, Learn, Share
- Having a nice time together :)
- How to unlearn internalized -isms.
- Reflecting on how the past influences and impeaches on the present.
- Listening (and asking questions).
- Show you around the great neighbourhood of Svartlamon, take you to the People's Kitchen and Samba band practice.
- We can add -eth to the ends of words in a desperate attempt to seem like funny, self-aware intellectuals. Ex: "Danceth", "Smileth"
- one of us can cook, and the other can fix basic computer problems
