Overview
About Me
I'm from Southern Ireland and have been living and working in Belfast for the past 8 years.
My partner Mark and I are currently taking 5 months off to travel around the Middle East and Asia. We love meeting new people, learning about different cultures and sharing stories :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it's the best way to get involved with the culture and people rather than organised tours. The people you meet while traveling is what's makes your trip and creates fond memories.
Interests
Music I play in a samba band in Ireland.

Music, Movies, and Books
All different types except heavy metal :)
I'm terrible at remembering the names of artists/films/books.
I don't watch much TV/films or read many books although I'm determined to read a sci-fi book while traveling called Beatric and Virgil by Yann Martel. I have yet to open it though :/
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
skydive in New Zealand (South Island)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach English and the piano. I'm learning to speak Farsi and to play the tin whistle (it's a traditional Irish instrument).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Share my experience of the world, knowledge of my country and travels so far. I always bring gifts for the host.
Share my knowledge of English language, teach some Irish language and knowledge of different instruments.
