First of all, read the following. :

We do not live in Valence (south east of France) but Valence is our reference city. We live in the countryside about 30km from Valence. If you are in car no problem, your stage will prove a superb place!
If you come by train, we will either pick you up at the TGV (high speed train) in Valence, or you will come by bus that arrives 500m from us, the bus station is in the railway station. We’ll pick you up at the bus stop in our village.
Finally by bike: there are bike paths from Valence to our home. The landscape is beautiful, you will be delighted!!

--- I had a Couch surfing account since at least 2016 but during the Covid I lost everything!! I don't know if it's my clumsiness or???

--- We are retired my husband and I. He was an hospital director, I was a homeopathic doctor.
We have a wonderful family, three children, six wonderful grandchildren, nephews and nieces. We see them from time to time, but they come to us every summer for a week.
We live in a pretty small village called "Les Ollières sur Eyrieux" in Ardeche 30km from Valence to the south west
When we are at home, we plant and grow ornamental and fruit trees.
I love to read, books are my armchair travels: guidebooks, ancient or modern history, books on Eastern philosophy, detective stories, biographies.
My husband, Jacques, reads political articles as well as travel diaries and biographies!
I like handicraft, furniture repair, chair or upholstery
For several years we have been traveling around Europe in a small motorhome, we are free! We hoped to visit Russia... . take with us grandchildren everywhere in the world, USA, Canada ....

We have been traveling for a long time. Do not look at our age, we are in excellent health, and our soul remains young, able to admire, not afraid to always make new efforts to fill our eyes and our heart! To contemplate new landscapes, all different, Scandinavian, Amazonian, Siberian or Thai, to share the life of the inhabitants, to understand their life, their culture, their history... Our program is over 40 years old!
