Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel I usually don't need a host, but I want to meet local people, explore the area in a company of locals and make new friends.

I enjoy the CS community a lot and I want to help building and expanding it.

Interests

I like people and hearing their stories, live music, coffee, beer, city views, landscapes.
I am definitely an extravert. People give me energy and I share it back as well. (Introverts beware)
I enjoy cooking, art, theaters, morning nature walks, sharing a drink with friends, debate interesting ideas and discussing favorite books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I like mountains, water and people. So, I climbed, dove and met people and it was always amazing.... Well 99% of the time amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Unfortunately, currently I am not hosting anybody but I could be a local guide in my city (Chicago and suburbs), and possibly I could join you on some hikes in the surrounding area or a city event.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good company, fun stories and many many book recommendations. Ideally I want the same back while we explore your city/area together.

I don't need you to per say host me, but in a few instances when I stayed at someone's place I contributed by cooking. I make first class borscht, decent fish, paella and a few more things.
I think it's a lie but some people tell me that I snore, so definitely a private room is a must.
