My name is Michael and I am 23 years old. I am from Winnipeg, Canada and I am studying business at the university of Manitoba. I am currently going to be studying in Osnabrück, Germany for 6 months. I really love to travel and have been doing it since I was a young kid. I have travelled to a lot of countries around the world. I love to meet new people and make new friendships and learn about different cultures!

The reason I have for couch surfing is that it is a great opportunity to meet new people and it's the best WA to actually see a country. Also couch surfing offers me peace of mind that I will have a place to stay if I ever need it.

The music I like is: rock, pop, jazz, classical, electronic dance music and pretty much anything else (except country music). My favourite books are Game of Thrones and any book written by Dan Brown. Also my favourite movies are action movies, war movies and anything that has to do with space. My favourite movie has to be Intertellar.

Its hard to name all the amazing things I have seen. Although, there have been 2 amazing things that I have seen on my journeys that stand out. The 1st is when I stayed in a small town in Switzerland and every morning I could look out my window and see the beauty of the Swiss Alps. The second thing was awaking on my flight home and looking out the window and I could see Greenland. It was my first time ever seeing it and it was amazing.

Because I am a Canadian I can make some really good Poutine (it is what we are known for). Also I am very clean and a very nice person to get along with. I am also a very helping person and will help with any tasks around the house (like doing dishes).
